Job Title:  Electronic Monitoring/GPS Device Installer

Work Activities: Installs, services and removes electronic monitoring equipment in adult division of correction offices or occasionally within probationers’ residences.    Typically work is completed within a designated work area in NC.

Specific duties include scheduling a place and time to complete installation or de-installation of monitoring equipment,  changing out of parts or equipment in the field, and insuring the proper storage, care, and shipping of equipment.

Successful applicants will be expected to maintain sufficient inventory levels to service specified clients within a designated region and to provide written information to the Reliant management team regarding the work performed, as well as, detailing any problems or concerns that were encountered.

Potential Eligibility Disqualifiers:  If you have ever been on supervised probation or you are presently working for the NC Department of Adult Correction, you are not eligible for this position.   Please also note if you have previously worked for the NC Department of Adult Correction (or under any of its predecessor names) you must continue to be in good standing with the agency regardless of the circumstances surrounding your departure.

Starting Salary: $16.00 – $16.25 per hour (PT).

Travel Required: Yes (usually within 35 total miles or less)

Min. Education Required: High School Diploma

Languages Preferred: English (first) and Spanish (second)
